Selling my Z after some recent unfortunate events.. aka lost my job
Now me and the old lady have to roll up our pant legs, change our bikes to fixed gear and buy a fuckin tiny home. Car’s located in Fort Worth and I’ve got a clean title in my name for the car. It was my daily for about 6 months before blowing a rod bearing and I want $4000.

I am quite happy with my original rebuilt motor with triple webers, I do not like the V8 swaps, but I don’t mind people using 280s, just leave the 240s alone. I would do a stroker at the most with a motor that isn’t my matching number motor and swap in something like a Rebello build. None of that cutting up the car for coil overs either. But mine is an early 71' 240 that’s sort of half series 1.

71 is a early Z car so it makes sense.
But you’re a different breed of car guy than myself. Seeing how I would never us the term numbers matching as it never once crossed my mind. Feel free to point any people you know looking for a LSX ready Z car my way tho.

My friend has a Datsun focused shop, he does work on any Japanese cars but they do most of the Zs near Sears Point Raceway and the north Bay Area. They actually have a Scarab Z in their little collection. That’s the only V8 Z with the people I know, everyone I know with cars are preserving them and are going to classic rallies. I’m near San Francisco so it’s a bit of a trip.

sucks you gotta sell it!
loev the seats
if I recall they are actually reupholstered, not just a blanket laying on them? perhaps more pictures or detail on that aspect, as it read in the CL ad it sounds liek you are hiding horrific torn up seats.

Nice.
Small suggestion. Would probably add that it’s set up for FI (I’m assuming based off the wiring in the engine bay pic) and if it’s a throttle cable or electronic throttle (pedal) as it’s not clear per the ad.

I have been lusting after a Z car so bad, but when I off the 928 (cause I should) I will be getting an offroad rig cause my Goat doesn’t like the dirt like it should.

I don’t think I can get rid of my miata at its current shape for what I wanted :(
( and there’s no way my wife would let me take Another shell back home :( )
Good luck with sale
